MY MUSIC

I’ve played in a lot of bands over the years and all of this experience helps inform my writing. With over 20 years worth of gigging under my belt across the UK, I’ve played in more dingy venues than you can shake a drop-tuned guitar at.

Keep scrolling to check out some of the projects I’ve been involved with over the years.

SAWBONES

A long-time collaboration with my good friend Joel Huges, Sawbones plays a Progressive-infused Hard Rock, mixing odd time signatures with solid riffs and wall-of-noise aesthetics. Nowadays, it is more of a recording project but we’ll be back with new music soon.

BEACONS

Beacons were a power trio based out of Aberystwyth in Wales. My second band while I was at Uni, we were a core part of the local scene, a proper DIY band who put on their own shows, did their own promo, and recorded all their own music.

PARIAH

My first-ever band, Pariah was a deathcore/prog metal act way ahead of its time. Using 7-strings before they were mainstream, we cultivated a huge following on MySpace, gathering fans all across the globe but especially in America. Hitting around 40k followers on MySpace at our peak we were regularly played on American radio stations and gigged all over the UK.

JACKALS

JACKALS have already received airtime on BBC Introducing, Total Rock Radio, and been featured on the Unsigned Guide’s Spotlight. They've supported Bicurious, Black Coast, They Fell From The Sky and JACKALS were also one of the headliners at the Hanwell Hootie 2022 in London, celebrating Marshall Amplification’s 60th anniversary.

CHINA MOON

China Moon was an Indie band that blended Eastern vibes with an alt-rock sensibility to craft melancholic melodies. With a sound that stood out in an oversaturated scene, they took an atypical approach to their live show, creating a swathe of sound that’s an amalgamate of parts dreamy, dark, enigmatic and wistful.

BENIGN SUN

My first band whilst I was at Uni, Benign Sun was a very Led Zeppelin-inspired prog rock quartet, that quickly developed a reputation for wild live shows thanks to our charismatic singer. Short-lived but impactful, the core of this band would go on to form Beacons.
